About the role

The Technical Analyst is a key member of the Operations, Facilities team, responsible for delivering high-quality technical support and service solutions across Maine. This role ensures the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure through proactive maintenance, incident resolution, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Reporting directly to the Lead, Field Services, the analyst plays a vital role in supporting business operations and enhancing user experience. 

This position will support all JDI companies located in Maine, including Woodlands, Sawmills, NBMR, and Atlas, ensuring consistent and reliable field services across these operations. 

  • End to End resolution of customer incidents assigned or escalated from Tier 1 
  • Fulfill defined customer service requests and project tasks 
  • Conduct site reviews and preventative maintenance at assigned business facilities 
  • Provide timely and accurate service reporting 
  • Manage and execute lifecycle activities for desktop devices, endpoint network switches, and Microsoft server hardware 
  • Maintain and manage regional field support partnerships 
  • Mentor end users in technology use and best practices 
  • Participate in on-call rotation  
  • Education Required: University degree, college diploma, or equivalent experience 
  • 0-2 years of experience in IT 
  • Valid Drivers Permit and able to travel between sites 
  • Expert knowledge of end user computing technologies: Desktops, Laptops, mobile devices/tablets (both Android and Apple) 
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Teams, Office 365, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome 
  • Strong analytical problem-solving abilities 
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines 
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills 

Bonus:  

  • Familiarity with SCCM, Netskope, Android OS, Apple OS 
  • Understanding of video conferencing technologies, server hardware, Microsoft Sever Operating Systems and Cisco Edge devices
