As we focus on our US expansion, you will be part of the new team of our brand new store in Georgetown, Washington DC. Reporting into the store management team, you will play a supporting role in our most established flagship store. With confidence to lead by example; acting as a brand ambassador you will inspire and motivate the team of sales advisors to deliver best in class customer experience, ensuring that the brand customer journey is consistently delivered. Making regular observations of Sales Advisor performance you will give praise and recognition as appropriate as well as encouraging improvements where required. You will handle customer queries with confidence to avoid complaints and aim to resolve any complaints in-store.
You will act as coach and mentor for the team of Sales Advisors to improve store results. You will proactively seek information regarding store performance to influence results, communicating relevant information and targets to the team during daily briefings. You will seek customer feedback and share observations of sales trends, highlighting risks and opportunities with the senior store management team to support completion of weekly and monthly trade reports.

You are also responsible and have a high degree of maturity and integrity to take on the responsibility of opening and closing the store. A sense of humor is a plus!
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Experience
• Act as a brand ambassador supporting with any community engagement activities as required.
• Lead by example to offer best in class customer experience, ensuring brand customer journey is consistently brought alive by Sales Advisors.
• Build a delighted and loyal customer base through engagement, conversion and capturing customer e-mails.
• Complete a daily floor walk to ensure replenishment, housekeeping and team grooming standards are in place and maintained throughout the day.
Store Operations
• Perform store opening and closing procedures including counting register funds, completing bank deposits, opening and closing registers and securing the store
• Follow standard operating procedures relating to stock and payment handling to ensure accuracy. Train all Sales Advisors on correct stock and payment handling procedures and ensure upheld to ensure accuracy.
• Directly responsible for execution and processing of merchandise, both incoming and outgoing (Transfers).
• Manage and communicate merchandise opportunities to the Store Manager.
• Ensure execution and maintenance of all Visual directives and guarantee the visual presentation of the store always meets standards.
• Manage and monitor Loss Prevention
• Actively participate in all merchandising activities including, but not limited to: daily stock maintenance and order, stock receiving and processing, product transfers, maintaining sales floor standards, and flips.
• Be knowledgeable of the store's merchandise, back of house and front of house layout
• Assist with all other duties as required by the store manager.
People management
• Responsible for assisting with the recruitment, training, development and succession of high-performing, results-driven Team Members.
• Observe team performance giving praise and recognition and coach improvement where required.
Commercial Performance and Reporting
• Lead by example with own sales performance.
• Carry out daily briefs with Sales Advisors to update on store performance and communicate targets.
• Share customer feedback and sales patterns with Store Management team.
• Communicate any people, operational, commercial issues to the Store Management team as appropriate.
Skills & Attributes
• Experience in global branded retail environment, ideally in supervisory role.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of retail experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills supporting a team environment.
• Passionate about the Brompton brand and customer experience.
• Strong English communication - verbal and written / Multilingual is a plus.
• Excellent time management/project skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and atte
