Why you want this job

As a Software Engineering Team Lead at SeekWell, you'll guide a talented team of 4–5 engineers in developing our core services that power the business. You’ll collaborate on building and maintaining a suite of backend APIs written in C# that support all our storefronts and operational systems. You will also help shape our evolving data streaming standards and practices, working with engineers who use Python, Databricks, and other modern tools (experience in these is helpful but not required). 

You’ll partner closely with a Product Manager, leading your team to research, design, and deliver robust solutions that enable personalization and a 360° view of our customers. Previous experience working on customer focused initiatives like building golden customer records, marketing funnels and microsegments is a plus. With an eye to the future, you and your team will also explore innovative ways to create business value through the application of machine learning (ML) and AI—a growth area where prior exposure is a plus but not a prerequisite. 

The experience we're looking for: 

• B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Experience delivering outcomes and leading a team of engineers
• A team player with strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Experience mentoring and supporting the growth of other developers
• 5–10 years of professional experience in C#
• SQL and database experience
• Experience delivering solutions that build and maintain golden customer records that drive personalization is a plus.
• Nice to have: Python, Apache Spark, Databricks, and exposure to ML/AI applications 

 Your day-to-day: 

• Develop and maintain platform services and internal applications using C#, SQL and modern web frameworks.
• Develop and maintain data streaming pipelines and jobs using Python in Databricks which deliver golden customer records and drive marketing funnels and microsegments.
• Build comprehensive automated tests to ensure quality
• Participate actively in collaborative code reviews and pull requests
• Work closely with your Product Manager to plan and prioritize stories and ensure delivery.   
• Complete stories independently or in a pair while collaborating effectively with the team
• Guide team members in delivering frequent, high-quality technical solutions
• Connect with your team through weekly 1:1s and provide supportive performance feedback

Work Environment 

• Full-time position in a flexible, hybrid work environment, combining remote work with in-office collaboration at our Draper, UT office.
• Expected to be in-office at least one day per week.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, including off-hours, weekends, and holidays, to support our 24/7 production systems.
