Team Lead

Status: Non-Exempt (hourly)

Position Summary

As a Team Lead, your responsibilities will include leading and experienced workforce to deliver high quality craftsmanship in a safe and efficient manner.  While working with team managers on unified business goals, you will contribute that appreciates creativity and facilitates innovation.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for tracking production quality through the manufacturing process.
• Ensure all standard practices are being followed in daily operations including adherence to welder worksheets, standard work, and all documented processes.
• Report failures and delays observed in lines.
• Assist with compliance solutions that are attainable within our manufacturing processes.
• Ensure the highest level of quality is met with all ACP products.
• Utilize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to reduce and eliminate rework.
• Work with Foreman to prioritize, communicate and motivate team to deliver products on time ensuring customer demand is met.
• Support, train and develop direct reports for current and future growth.
• Conduct yourself with professionalism, positive attitude, and respect at all times.
• Lead by example following all safety rules ensuring proper PPE and safety equipment are being used for tasks being performed.
• Handle all confidential information with the highest level of sensitivity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• At least 3 years of manufacturing quality work history.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Uncompromising dedication to quality.
• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.
• Excellent follow-through. 
• Must be driven and self-motivated.
• Teamwork oriented and focused.
