Job Summary:
The Parking and Transportation Department is looking for a goal oriented, ambitious and self-starting leader that wants to mold the staff of drivers into a strong peer group, transform the department by bringing innovative ideas and support the culture of safety in line with enjoyment of the job. This Lead position will not only have an opportunity to discuss management of the department with the Assistant and Senior Managers but will be given the autonomy to make decisions, discuss route planning and help train drivers to ensure that they are following the DOT standards.
Job Specifications:
- Starting Wage: $23.00/hr - $30.26/hr
- Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026
- Shift Type: Full Time hours available

Job Responsibilities:
- Two-week Training program for all new drivers
- Open and Close shifts
- Lead morning meetings with resort information, safety focus, etc.
- Driving one of the buses when necessary.
- Maintaining a positive and friendly culture with all transportation employees.
- Greeting drivers when they arrive in the morning and prepare them for the day's tasks.
- Making sure drivers have closed out their buses and refueled at the end of the day.
- Keeping the break room and surrounding areas clean.
- Providing leadership for staff on a daily basis.
- Dispatching buses to different routes when needed based on guest and traffic demand.
- Maintaining fleet of company trucks for driver use. (make sure they are fueled, clean and working with Vehicle Maintenance to keep serviced)
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a CDL and 2 years of driving larger vehicles with a capacity of 16 passengers on public roadways- preferred OR at least 2 years of Team Lead or Supervisor experience
- Excellent personal, organizational and communication skills
- Dedicated to the guest experience
- Interested in career development and leadership opportunities
- Strong work ethic
- Understand DOT pre/post trip checklists
- Able to dispatch during heavy traffic periods on town/resort roadways
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License & Satisfactory Driving Record (in accordance with VR Drivers Policy)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Post offer background check approval
- Able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screening
