Talent Development Specialist

tl;dr — Seeking individual contributor with 4+ years of experience in related discipline. Role is 50% content creation, 30% project management, 20% admin & ops. Facilitation skills a plus.

Throughout 2024, we've built strong foundations for our Talent Development strategy—launching our own competency model, implementing growth-focused performance practices, and creating a high-potential leadership development program.

We've just reached 300 employees and have ambitious plans for Talent Development in the year ahead. In 2025, we're expanding our initiatives to focus on leadership development, manager training, and company-wide upskilling programs.

• You'll be an individual contributor reporting to our Director of Talent Development.
• You’ll have plenty of “heads down” time to design and deliver impactful learning content.
• You’ll also collaborate cross-functionally to help develop and deliver our programming.

Ownership & Responsibility

1. Content Development — Your top priority will be creating engaging, scalable learning content, including live workshops, self-led eLearning, guiding documentation, and toolkits.
2. Project Management — You’ll also project manage the full suite of Talent Development programs. We’ll look to you to drive organization and accountability as we develop and deliver our 2025 Talent Development Strategy.
3. Operational Support — You’ll be accountable for key aspects of our Talent Programs, including capturing feedback, measuring impact, and identifying areas for improvement.

• Demonstrated Expertise: 4+ years of experience in talent development, organizational development, or a related field, with a strong track record of designing, managing, and evaluating impactful learning programs.
• Operational Thinker: You excel at translating strategic frameworks into actionable plans.
• Communicating Effectively: You can communicate with a blend of warmth and authority, tailoring your approach to a variety of audiences.
• Driving Innovation: You enjoy talking endlessly about leadership development, adult learning theory, and growth-led performance practices as mediums for innovating in the workplace.
• Planning & Alignment: You can effectively manage a portfolio of projects across the team. You are exceptionally organized and have the uncanny ability to juggle multiple priorities while keeping the necessary stakeholders informed to your progress.
