We have a great opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Assistant to join our People team based in our downtown Chicago office. This is an ideal position for a recent graduate or for someone with up to one year of recruitment experience who is looking for a company that can offer genuine career development and progression. This role is an internal role reporting to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition.

Located in the US, EMEA, and APAC, Proxima is a well-established and leading management consulting firm specializing in procurement. We are experts in our field, helping our clients to reduce spend, increase cost savings and optimize their procurement strategy using innovative thinking.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Coordinate and arrange interviews
  • Track applications and maintain candidate database
  • Post and manage job adverts through the database and relevant related sites (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc)
  • Preparing and extending all formal offer documentation
  • Organizing and supporting US and UK graduate recruitment efforts on an annual basis
  • Ad-hoc support on tasks or new projects for Recruitment as required
  • Ensuring candidates are kept up to date during the recruitment process
  • Provide statistics and reports on candidate activity and update trackers on a daily basis
  • Supporting screening calls for Professional Support and Center of Excellence junior level roles
  • Help manage and respond to queries through the Recruitment admin email inboxes
  • Ensure that all candidate data is processed and dealt with in a confidential and sensitive manner
  • Holiday/absence cover for the Recruitment Team is crucial

Key skills:

  • Gained some experience in an administrative and/or recruitment role (preferred)
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and work well under deadlines
  • A good working knowledge of MS Office programs
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Attention to detail is paramount
  • Proactive and calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Innovative and commercially focused
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
