The Work You Will Do:

This position serves as a Tester on the Quality Assurance and Testing team within the Division of Information Technology (IT). This is full performance level work. This position independently performs a full range of assignments under limited supervision. This position is responsible for performing functional testing for all initiatives that the Department plans to implement. The incumbent will be required to support their own scrum team with the goal of improving their QA and testing knowledge and skills. Additionally, the incumbent will be required to evaluate user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems as well as review computer system capabilities and process workflows. The incumbent will also be required to collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance and Testing team manager and Senior Tester or System Project Consultant (SPC) to finalize and implement activities to achieve the goal of the overall skills and knowledge improvement of the team.
