Must have held current position in CPS for 6 months, meet the qualifications for the position, and not currently on a Performance Improvement Plan

About the Role

  • Support production managers by coordinating manufacturing projects, ensuring smooth execution, managing project schedules and resources, and facilitating communication between teams
  • Assist in developing production-based project plans, timelines and budgets
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues
  • Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams (eg. Production, engineering, maintenance)
  • Act as a point of contact for project-related inquiries
  • Support the implementation of improvement initiatives
  • SAP/MII Clean-Up
  • Repair of SAP issues for Finance (month end)
  • SAP count correction
  • Support Maintenance on issues
  • Support IT on issues (PC/Printers and mouse issues on the shop floor)
  • Support Facilities on Issues
  • Repair and maintenance of project-related improvements (floor patching, barrier installation/removal, etc.)
  • Create/Train on floor plotting signs
  • Create/Fix/Support Bartender labels for carton labeling
  • Unload and unpack equipment
  • Pack equipment for shipping
  • Manage knife/drill inventory and orders supplies weekly
  • Create and maintain production needed structures (ie. Shelves, platforms, knife scabbards, 3 sided boxes and skids
  • Participate in the Plant-wide and Bindery Safety Teams
  • Fix/address Safety concerns
  • Create chemical authorization process forms

About You

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Enterprise resource planning system experience (e.g. SAP)
  • Knowledge of Lean practices in a related production and materials management environment
  • Works with peers, staff members and management on cross-departmental projects
  • Represents TR and creates relationships with vendors supporting production
  • Frequent contact with internal departments
  • Experience in projects or project management
  • Participated in Lean projects
