Position Summary:
The Systems Operations Manager will be responsible for owning, administering, and optimizing the use of internal electronic systems supporting QuartzBio business operations, commercial operations, project management, and delivery. This role will be responsible for systems including, but are not limited to Smartsheets, Atlassian (JIRA / Confluence), MS SharePoint / Teams application within the fast paced, high-growth QuartzBio SaaS Solutions business. Responsibilities will include evaluation of systems, user requirements gathering, recommendations for improvements, and implementing solutions in collaboration with key stakeholders to support current and future business needs. The Operational Systems Manager will also be accountable for analysis and documentation of current and new business processes as they relate to operational systems, applications, and interoperability.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
- Serve as the primary business owner for internal operational systems including, but not limited to Smartsheets, Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), MS SharePoint / Teams, and Infor ERP
- Lead user requirements gathering and system design to ensure functionality and reporting needs are met
- Configure and implement general-purpose software to meet business needs
- Serve as the technical point of contact for software vendors and internal IT
- Develop documentation on system workflows, user guides, and best practices
- Analyze business processes and work with the operations, project management, and delivery teams to evaluate opportunities for improvements and enhancements across systems and applications
- Train users and super users on internal business systems
- Seek opportunities for interoperability with other applications supporting the QuartzBio business (e.g., Salesforce, Slack, Outlook, others)
- Develop and lead implementation of plans for optimizing system and application use for maximum business gain, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Ensure compliance with processes and standards
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or other related discipline
- 5 years of experience with design and implementation of general-purpose software to meet business needs
Other Required:
- Experience with Smartsheets
- Experience with MS SharePoint / Teams
- Ability to work and to adapt in a fast paced, high-growth environment
- Ability to create, document, and follow processes and procedures
- Must be able to read, write, speak fluently and comprehend the English language
Preferred:
- Experience with Atlassian applications (JIRA / Confluence)
- Experience leading and implementing software design, optimization, or improvement efforts
Experience building and maintaining internal business systems for a SaaS / PaaS Solutions provider

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.Reasonable estimate of the current range$90,000—$130,000 USD
