Job Description

Power Electronics Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, testing and validation of power electronics systems such as traction inverters, converters and other power electronics sub components.

Lead technical project activities during the development and launch of power electronics components and systems
Work with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications
Create system architecture and perform system integration
Operate as the main technical interface to the customer in the region
Release design products into SAP/ERP systems

Qualifications

The engineer will be required to have a detailed understanding of the core components and design limitations for power electronics components and have the ability to explain component performance and operational strategies, both for the hardware and software content of the devices.

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field

7+ years of experience in power electronics design and development

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Experience with MATLAB and Simulink
