Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Support systems engineering activities for tactical communications systems, including design, development, and evaluation.
• Assist in requirements analysis, system integration, and verification of DoD waveforms and Software Defined Radios (SDRs).
• Conduct technical analyses to ensure compliance with DoD policies, interoperability, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Support system and network engineering tasks, including Internet Protocol and mobile networking technologies.
• Collaborate with Government stakeholders in technical reviews, working groups, and engineering assessments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, reports, and test procedures.
• Provide subject matter expertise in communications system engineering, security, and resilience testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in systems engineering or related technical discipline.
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, technical standards, and system lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with RF communication systems, tactical waveforms, and open systems architectures.
• Ability to work with Secret and Top Secret/SCI information environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing technical reports and presentations.
• Eligibility for and ability to maintain a Secret clearance; TS/SCI may be required.
