This position is for Systems Engineering position on the Cargo and Transport Systems team within the Fixed Wing Solutions department of Military Avionics & Helicopters – Avionics Engineering – Collins Aerospace – RTX Corporation.  The team’s charter is to perform the aircraft platform systems engineering tasks associated with the design, development, and integration of various system/subsystem applications, for use on USAF and International fixed-wing platforms.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist with technical presentations and discussions with the various stakeholders. 

  • Help with capture requirements and establish solid designs for new programs. 

  • Support testing activities during the avionics development life-cycle. 

  • Help coordinate communication and status to relevant stakeholders. 

  • Assist with driving resolutions for technical issues through problem solving and coordination across teams.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with Agile methodologies 

  • Experience with Systems and Software Integration activities 

  • Experience with Systems Engineering following defined engineering best practices
