Systems Engineer- Automation

If you are passionate about cloud engineering, automation, and security—and eager to make a significant impact—this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career with us.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, implement, and maintain operational components in private on-prem clouds such as VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V</li> <li>Analyze processes to create and enhance operational workflows</li> <li>Be able to work closely with operational teams to build /improve cloud infrastructure</li> <li>Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and trending operational tools in the cloud</li> <li>Respond to alerts; troubleshoot and resolve problems</li> <li>Be proactive in recognizing and handling uptime and performance challenges</li> <li>Perform automating using infrastructure as a code</li> <li>Automate self-provisioning of resources and services for a Private Cloud Environment</li> <li>Configure and deploy containerized micro-service components</li> <li>Troubleshoot the system and provide root cause analysis</li> <li>Provide rotational 24/7 on-call technical support</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years of systems engineering experience</li> <li>Experience configuring and troubleshooting Windows or Linux environments</li> <li>Experience working in private on-prem cloud environments running VMware ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V</li> <li>Ability to create, edit, and maintain scripting code from Bash, Powershell, Python, and Javascript for infrastructure configuration and building</li> <li>Experience with configuration management systems such as Ansible</li> <li>Understanding of build/automation systems such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions</li> <li>Experience with infrastructure provisioning tools such as Terraform and Packer</li> <li>Ability to automate workflows via scripting for self service</li> <li>Visa sponsorship is not available for this posting.
