Your opportunity:
The System Administrator will be focused on the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions, including email and messaging, document management, electronic faxing, software/subscription licensing and management, in addition to other duties as assigned. The System Administrator will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate with network and server staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes
- Coordinates technology deployments and upgrades for both domestic and international locations.
- Coordinate the work of vendor representatives assisting in system installation, maintenance, or upgrades.
- Maintain good working relationships with manufacture vendors and support providers
- Work with support personnel in all areas of IT including Helpdesk, Desktop, Programming, Systems, and Analysis for issue resolution and continuous improvement.
- Participate in the development of the IT budget and strategic plans
- Attend technical conferences, formal training classes, and seminars to keep abreast of new hardware and software product developments.
- Performs related work as required.
- Travel to various locations domestic and international as needed.
- Occasionally work during non-business hours to perform maintenance and installations.
What you should have:
- Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, which is equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regular four-year college program.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience.
Your technical experience should include:
- Windows Server and Desktop operating systems
- M365 Microsoft Ecosystem
- IT Security and frameworks
- Data Protection platforms and standards
- Document Management Systems and Processes
- Excellent software troubleshooting experience.
