System Development Engineer, eero Business Systems

We are seeking an experienced System Development Engineer to join eero's Business System team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining mission-critical AWS infrastructure that powers our business systems processes. Key job responsibilities
- Design and own business-critical AWS services
- Drive cloud architecture strategy and best practices across Business Systems
- Develop and maintain integrations using RESTful services, SOAP, and database connections
- Develop endpoints in systems (e.g. NetSuite) that connect to AWS
- Architect robust error management and control systems
- Conduct code reviews and maintain high code quality standards
- Create comprehensive technical documentation

Technical Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of AWS services, including: Lambda, S3, Redshift, API Gateway, CloudWatch, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, B2B Data Interchange
- Experience building APIs and system integrations
- Excellent background in systems integration and data processing
- Understanding of business systems applications and enterprise architecture

Business Systems is fundamental to eero's daily operations, working closely with teams across the company to automate and streamline their processes. We serve internal customers in Finance, Accounting, Operations, Manufacturing, Sales and eCommerce by building solutions that help them work more efficiently. Basic Qualifications

- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with distributed systems at scale
