What it takes to succeed:
- One (1) year of prior experience planning, coordinating and executing major events strongly preferred.
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or related field strongly preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a SEA driver’s license.
- Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient at Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines with detail orientated style to include contracts, itineraries, park-wide communication, etc.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language. Bilingual a plus.
- Must be confident and outgoing with the ability to professionally interact with various levels of team members, with the ability to present in front of large audiences. Strong customer service experience required.
- Must be able to work independently and have flexibility to work successfully in a team environment when needed.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays. Ability to travel if necessary.
- Consistently practices safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations.
- Must be willing to comply with and ensure team members comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
- Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines.

- Plan, coordinate, and execute all internal and external special events, from contract execution through entire planning stages and post event communication, to address client needs while pursuing tailored event enhancements driving incremental event revenue.
- Responsible for day to day contact and follow up with clients.
- Communicate event details to all internal departments to ensure team delivers the highest level of service, and assist with all components for a successful event.
- Generate all necessary documents for special events.
- Function as main point of client contact to ensure event exceeds client expectations.
- Ensure all deposits, payments, insurance certificates, credit applications, tax exemption forms, and other mandatory event elements are received and fully executed prior to event.
- Complete post event processes including finalizing billing details, departmental revenue, and event evaluations.
- Maintain cleanliness of all special event storage areas.
- Conduct special events meetings to include all internal departments.
- Other duties as assigned.
