Job Overview

This opening is for a Supply Chain Materials Analyst - Hay Points 353.

This position is responsible for management of all material settings across nine warehouse facilities and six service centers.  The integrity of data and cohesion across the facilities is paramount to ensure proper material movements and stocking.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Maintenance of all local plant views of the Material Master (Purchasing, MRP tabs 1-4, Forecasting, General Plant data/Storage 1 and 2, Quality Management).
• Additions, extensions, modifications and deletions of stock and non-stock items are included within the span of responsibility.
• Maintain weekly, biweekly and monthly scheduled audits of material masters to ensure master data accuracy across all US underground plants.
• Provide Analytic support to Supply Chain manager, Supervisors and Buyers upon need.
• Measure and ensure SAP systems data integrity and accuracy.
• Identify and correct anomalies in master data via the use of audit reports.
• Perform analysis and management of inventory levels, demand, re-order points, min/max levels, master data, consumption trends, and other operational/procurement considerations to ensure the continuous flow of inventory materials to the respective warehouses.
• Provide systems support to ensure that inventory materials are planned, ordered, received, maintained and controlled in compliance with appropriate Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Safety, Environmental and other Corporate Standards.
• Identify opportunities for process change and work cross functionally to drive process improvements.  Assist other departments in troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to material master data.
• Support all aspects of materials management, related to process and systems expertise, including business support of inventory systems and technology solutions, ad-hoc and routine reporting and end user training.
• Testing programs and creating documentation for system processes.
• Maintaining user guides and reference guides for the field users in inventory control audits and material master settings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Preferred bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain management, Inventory Management, ERP management or related field
• Must have 4+ years extensive experience with SAP systems and MM, WH, SD, PP, SM module
• Must be self-motivated with strong analytical skills
• Must be a goal oriented team player with interpersonal and leadership skills
• Must have strong communication skills to be able to convey facts and logic-based ideas onto other employees at all levels and business areas
• Demonstrate excellent computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, PPT).  Advanced skills with Excel required.
