Supply Chain Business Analyst

Overview

Milton CAT is seeking a progressive Supply Chain Business Analyst to join our team. This role will work hand in hand with the Supply Chain Logistics team (Parts Department) on key warehouse management system upgrades and initiatives. You will start by getting up to speed on daily workflows and business processes and will grow into managing the day-to-day support of various business critical applications such as Vertical Lift Module integration, sortation systems, conveyors, light warehouse control systems and automation for the parts department. This position will be the point of contact for advanced technical ERP and WMS integrations which includes in-depth knowledge of application functions and configuration options. Business Analyst experience with Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Logistics as well as familiarity with an ERP platform is strongly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems analysis, design, specifications, and support development for all applications.
• Evaluates business processes, helps formulate the business requirements uncovers areas for improvement, and facilitates solution development and implementation.
• Participate with the quality assurance, technical services, operations, and application development staff to create work plans to support strategic initiatives, business plans and emerging business needs.
• Facilitate communications with operational department stakeholders by participating in project team meetings.
• Identifies, manages, and tracks business and technical objectives throughout the project’s lifecycle.
• Maintains a strong understanding of business operations, priorities, and strategic objectives.
• Develop a thorough understanding of technology integrations between different systems.
• Define requirements for data analytics and reporting for process governance.
• Liaison for applications supported internally and with external vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain and Logistics, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3-5 years’ related experience required, ideally as a Business Analyst or Project Manager.

• Excited to learn new technologies and analytical methodologies.
• Experience with ERP and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) technology or similar integrated platforms.
• Demonstrated aptitude to quickly learn business processes.
• Excellent documentation, organizational, communication skills.
• Proficient use of laptop and mobile technology with advanced utilization of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work with users at all levels within the organization.
