The Opportunity
Glanbia invites you to be a part of our mission to meet our Supplier sustainability goals in Procurement. This role is pivotal in enhancing the management of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) programs within our Glanbia Nutritionals supply base to effectively address today’s climate challenges. This permanent position will report to the Senior Procurement Director and duties include but are not limited to the following; 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage ESG Compliance: Interface with suppliers and manage ESG-related data requests, compliance, audit programs, and supplier compliance tools.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization, including sustainability and commercial teams.
  • Procurement Categories: Work across Direct and Indirect procurement categories with category managers and procurement COE.
  • Global Team Interface: Ensure Corporate ESG compliance initiatives and KPIs are progressing by interfacing with the Glanbia global team.
  • Master Data Ownership: Own the sustainability-related supplier master data in Glanbia ERP and peripheral systems.
  • Regulatory Reporting: Manage regulatory reporting outputs from Procurement to our Sustainability and corporate teams.
  • Supplier Sustainability Program: Develop and manage a Supplier sustainability and diversity program to increase the use of sustainable suppliers.
  • Policy Development: Inform policy development and enforcement in alignment with the Group Procurement initiatives, and participate in new sustainability initiatives.

 

The Skills you will bring to the team

 

  • Education and Experience: Preferred university degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain utilizing ERP systems.
  • Leadership and Knowledge: Demonstrated leadership role in functional projects and working knowledge of Procurement fundamental processes and sustainability activities.
  • Data Handling: Proficient in all Procurement SAP ERP functions and experienced in handling large data sets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong business understanding, ability to handle multiple priorities, and superior problem-solving skills.
