SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Fighting structural, shipboard, and/or airfield fires using pre-fire planning methods and knowledge of layouts and design; 2) Operating firefighting emergency vehicles and equipment; 3) Providing hazardous material incident response; 4) Applying construction principles, codes, and designs to evaluate the technical adequacy of all fire protection and life safety features; AND 5) Providing basic life support procedures as needed for each emergency call.**NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position. Certifications Requirements: - Fire Officer I, II, & III - Fire Fighter I & II - Fire Inspector I, II, & III - Fire Instructor I & II - Driver Operator Aerial - Driver Operator Pumper - Hazmat Technician - Hazmat Incident Commander - Hazmat OPS - Hazardous Materials Incident Commander- Airport Firefighter - NREMT These certifications must have been awarded by DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard to meet the requirement. Copies of Certifications MUST be submitted with application to verify eligibility.
