You will be responsible for overseeing the production process from start to finish on assigned shift at the Taste, Texture & Health (TTH) site in St. Louis, MO.  This site is core to our Taste strategy and the position reports to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations including policies, benefits, procedures, and performance reviews.
• Train, cross train, and develop personnel and utilize each in their area of expertise.
• Responsible for the safety of all individuals within the plant production facility.  The knowledge of safe operating procedures, including existing safety goals
• Ensures that kosher procedures are properly followed.  Incumbent displays the ability to develop operating procedures and the knowledge of kosher requirements.
• Responsible for creating an environment of continuous improvement within the production units and developing an awareness for product quality to ensure that customer service is provided, short lead times, and inventory control is maintained.
• Ensure that good plant sanitation standards are followed and are according to Good Manufacturing Practices.

You bring

• Strong management, comunication & interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in business/management or technical field is preferred.
•  A minimum of 5 years previous experience in a food manufacturing production environment is required.
•  A minimum of 3 years experience directly managing others is required.
•  A commitment to teamwork, fostering collaboration and respecting diverse perspectives.
• Accountability to decision-making, ensuring alignment with our values and achieving positive outcomes.
