Summary

The Supervisor, Facilities Maintenance provides leadership to Operations and Maintenance Project Leaders and their teams to ensure focus on the group's objectives. Serves as communications liaison among other leaders, other groups and own group. Acts as the technical consultant to teams/groups, as requested.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma/GED plus seven (7) years' experience in the design, engineering, construction, operations, and/or maintenance of transmission and distribution electrical facilities.
• OR seven (7) years' equivalent combination of education and experience in the design, engineering, construction, operations, and/or maintenance of transmission and distribution electrical facilities, power plants or related energy or construction industries.
• In lieu of Bachelor's degree, an equivalent combination of seven (7) years education and working experience in design, engineering, construction, operations, and/or maintenance of transmission and distribution electrical facilities, power plants or related energy or construction industries.
• Must live within the assigned geographic area with the ability to commute to work sites of service area and ability/availability to oversee emergent work during nights and weekends.
  
  Preferred Special Skill, Knowledge or Qualifications:
  Demonstrated leadership qualities and effective interpersonal skills. Broad and in-depth knowledge of utility operations, construction, safety standards, IBEW contract and local/state/federal regulations. Excellent project management, business planning, and negotiating skills.
