Description
In this role, you will oversee a team of Account Managers, ensuring they meet performance goals, and participate in day-to-day sales activities, including prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing leads. As a working Supervisor, you will be instrumental in helping Recreation dealerships streamline their operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive business growth through acquisition of Lightspeed transactional solutions. The ideal candidate combines a proven track record in sales leadership with hands-on involvement in achieving team and individual goals.
What you'll do:
- Lead, mentor, and support the Account Management team to ensure they meet or exceed performance objectives.
- Monitor team performance metrics and provide constructive feedback to drive improvement.
- Train new team members on Lightspeed DMS solutions, sales techniques, and best practices.
- Conduct regular check-ins and coaching sessions to support professional development.
- Conduct outbound prospecting to generate new leads and qualify inbound inquiries.
- Use research and outreach techniques to identify potential clients and key decision-makers within dealership organizations.
- Engage with prospects via phone, email, and virtual meetings to introduce Lightspeed DMS’s transactional revenue solutions and qualify interest.
- Develop a thorough understanding of Lightspeed’s dealership management software and communicate its value proposition effectively.
- Conduct initial needs assessments with prospects to identify pain points, challenges, and potential benefits of implementing Lightspeed’s transactional solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of all team and individual prospect interactions and sales activities in the CRM.
- Schedule and oversee product demonstrations and meetings for the team’s qualified leads.
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and senior leadership, providing regular updates on performance and feedback from prospects.
- Foster positive relationships with existing clients to ensure trust and engagement throughout the sales process.
Requirements
What you'll have:
- Experience in supervising or leading a sales team in a B2B setting, preferably in SaaS, technology, or the recreation sector.
- Proven ability to train, mentor, and motivate team members.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance supervisory and individual sales responsibilities.
- 2+ years in B2B sales or lead generation, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and proficiency with virtual meeting tools.
- A consultative approach to building relationships and understanding client needs.
- A proactive and resilient attitude with a drive to meet and exceed goals.
- Knowledge of recreation industry trends, dealership operations, and competitor offerings is a plus.
