About the Role
The Superintendent - Construction will work closely with the Project Team to develop and maintain the Baseline Construction Schedule. This role involves coordinating and overseeing onsite work of all Trade Partners, managing Union-related labor relations, and ensuring construction quality meets or exceeds company standards. The Superintendent will also function as a liaison between the Project Management Team and onsite field operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and contract requirements.

Construction Scheduling and Coordination
- Develop and maintain schedules, review progress, and update weekly.
Onsite Management and Labor Relations
- Oversee onsite work, manage labor relations, and mentor the team.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Ensure construction quality and compliance with standards and codes.
Site Logistics and Safety
- Prepare logistics plans, ensure safety training, and enforce safety policies.
Documentation and Financials
- Maintain construction documents, review contracts, and approve logs.
Communication and Meetings
- Liaise between teams and facilitate meetings.
Training and Compliance
- Complete required training and comply with regulations.

What You'll Need
Education and Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- OSHA 30-hour certification required.
- Local and/or State certification required, as needed.
- CPR/First Aid certification required.
Experience
- 3-5 years of Superintendent construction experience required.
- Proven experience in managing onsite construction activities and labor relations.
- Multi-family construction experience preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of construction documents, drawings and specifications, construction means, methods and materials.
- Advanced computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Bluebeam. Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills combined with excellent attention to detail and effective verbal and written communication.
