Superintendent Construction Project Mgmt

The Supervisor,  Construction Project Management provides oversight, coordination and management of construction project equipment planning and purchasing for diversified and complex construction projects to ensure the satisfaction of the project scope for AHS. Oversee all aspects of the Furniture, Fixture & Equipment (F/F/E) planning along with purchasing (working with Strategic Sourcing) to ensure project scope completion within set timeline, contract specifications and budget.   Oversee minor construction projects across the enterprise. This role will be based out of Morristown Medical Center. 

 

• Oversee the design, construction and renovation of complex construction projects throughout AHS
• Coordinates with stakeholders, architects, engineers and specialized consultants to specify the project
• Program and satisfy project scope, with the Facilities engineering dept. to provide for infrastructure interface requirements to existing buildings
• Reviews drawings and contracts and provides input recommendations and approval of same
• Provides value engineering review of design and specifications.
• Prepares Furniture Fixture and equipment RFP and bid documents along with professionals
• Coordinates contractors and end users
• Coordinates and implements relocation plans
• Prepares, oversees and reports all F/F/E financial aspects of the project.
• Prepares weekly and monthly reports on projects.

Minimum Education Required:
High School Diploma
BS in Construction Management Preferred

 

Minimum Experience Required:
5 years construction superintendent or project management.
Hospital construction preferred.
