Super Tech/Sr. Field Engineer

Overview

TeleWorld Solutions is seeking a We are looking for an experienced Super Tech/Sr. Field Engineer to join our LTE/5G engineering team. You will be a key contributor as a subject matter expert in radio frequency (RF) and/or wireless transmission design. You will assist in the Deployment, Optimization and troubleshooting of these networks; you will need to resolve a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. You will use your expertise to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. You will interact across multifunctional groups and with customers, driving the ownership of those relationships.

 

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in multi-vendor equipment, structured cabling, DC power systems, and advanced troubleshooting. This position also requires field leadership, documentation skills, and a commitment to job site safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

🛠️ Installation & Commissioning

• Install, integrate, and commission Samsung equipment to Samsung standards.
• Install, Commission and integrate Cisco CSR/IXR routers to manufacturers and Samsung specifications.
• Support On-Site Field Work, technical work, installations, testing, and troubleshooting of backhaul, transmission methodology.

📡 Integration & Testing

• Work with RF engineers and remote testers to ensure site readiness and KPI compliance
• Support troubleshooting of all T-1, ATM backbone, microwave backhaul transmission methodology
• Execute RMA process including field trouble-shooting, replacement and administrative completion. Process may require interfacing with customer, subcontractors and multiple groups within Samsung organization.
• Conduct or assist in all field engineering activities in support of field trials (FIT/FOA/FFA).
• Design and execute RF field test plans for technology features and performance.
• Accountable for driving field integration testing efforts (FFA/FIT/FFA) of all 4G/5G key features with customers, including test plan development, reviewing test plan with internal teams, driving cross-functional teams to execution, review of test results, issue identification, analysis and quality proofing.o Ability to manage field engineering walk/drive testing, post-processing, layer-3 signaling analysis, troubleshooting, parameter changes of LTE and 5G NSA and SA systems.o Perform ad-hoc field testing as needed.
