Summer Intern, Cheminformatics

What this position is all about:  

Chemical data management includes making necessary update on chemical structures and/or their associated registration data to ensure data integrity. This involves data analysis on compound registration information against our business rules.

What you would be responsible for:

• Prepare the spreadsheet for data update
• Make necessary correction using ChemAxon Compreg application and/or our web-based bulk update tool
• Document the QC procedure on Confluence and Jira

What experiences will you need:

• student pursuing studies in chemistry, and/or chemoinformatic

What sets you apart:

The preferred candidate would have demonstrated expertise in several of the following skills:

• Familiar with ChemOffice, Excel, SDF files
• Programming and scripting skills to analyze chemical structure and properties is plus
• Scripting / programming skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
