Our 12-week Summer Development Internship Programme (SDIP) provides valuable experience complementing your studies and supporting your personal and professional growth. You’ll be supported with:
A structured 12-week programme filled with regular learning opportunities
Mentorship, office buddies, intern community, and access to the Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic network and support services
A welcome event featuring guest speakers and engagement activities, followed by a closing event to celebrate your success
Access to a range of training and development courses
This internship will help develop your:
Leadership, inclusive behaviours, and relationship management
Communication, resilience, and adaptability
Problem-solving, innovation, continuous improvement, and the use of digital technology
Corporate knowledge and sustainability awareness
This experience could lead to various career pathways across the Environment Agency and kick start your future! You'll be working on challenging, varied projects that matter and will make a difference.
Assessment Process - Behavioural Based Assessment (BBA)
We assess candidates through behavioural-based assessments, proven to effectively measure aptitude and potential. Once you’ve applied online, you'll receive a link within 24 hours to complete the BBA. This includes game-based tasks that are analysed and scored.
