Job Description

Albemarle is seeking rising sophomores and juniors to join our Summer 2026 Internship Program. The ideal candidate would be available to work full-time for 12 weeks from May 18th - August 7th at any one of our sites.

We are currently seeking interns to support the following functions:  

•  Internal Audit

• Data Science

• Human Resources

QUALIFICATIONS  

• Strong written and verbal communications skills  

• Must be able to commit to a full-time schedule (40 hrs/week) 

• Prior internship experience is a plus. 

EDUCATION  

• Seeking sophomore or junior level candidates (any graduation date between Dec 2026 to Dec 2028)  

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources or a business related field.   

• Desired Cumulative GPA 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

Job Responsibilities for an Internal Audit Intern may include one or more of the following: 

• Assist with completing engagements from the 2026 Annual Audit Plan

• Assist with annual SOX control testing as assigned

Job Responsibilities for a Data Science Intern include one or more of the following:  

• Prompt engineering and training of our internal AI portal to accelerate extraction of insights from call logs and other internal documents 

• Integration of LLMs into our databricks systems to enable self-service of insights to other functions
