Summer 2025 Accounting Intern

The Opportunity 

Ulteig is looking for an Accounting Intern with a basic understanding of GAAP and financial principles and terms who is ready for an immersive, real-world accounting experience. Under the supervision of our staff, the Accounting Intern can expect to focus on primarily AP, participate in the preparation of journal entries and financial reports, analyze actual financial data, learn more about bookkeeping software, and assist with other accounting activities. You should be a motivated team player who can maintain efficiency and accuracy when multitasking.

 

What You'll Do

• Shadow members of the Accounting team as they perform their duties
• Assist with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
• Assist with preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents
• Work with robust ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics
• Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
• Learn how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients
• Take on any additional task or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations

 

What We Expect from You

• Minimum of 2 years completed towards earning a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly motivated with attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency
• Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S
