We are looking for a talented Subsea Controls Lead Hand to join our onshore team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the refurbishment, repair and maintenance of subsea control systems in an onshore environment. The Subsea Controls Lead Hand will also provide leadership and guidance to a team of subsea technicians to ensure the successful operation of subsea equipment.

As a Subsea Controls Lead Hand, you will be responsible for:

• Leading and supervising a team of subsea technicians.

• Providing technical support and guidance to team members on subsea controls and related systems.

• Planning & organizing workshop activities to ensure business priorities are met.

• Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and safety guidelines.

• Coordinating with other departments to ensure timely completion of subsea control system projects.

• Carrying out maintenance and repair of technical, mechanical and electrical equipment / production equipment before and after shipment offshore.

• Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify and address any issues.

• Promoting a continuous improvement mindset across the whole team.

• Working closely with Software engineers to diagnose and resolve software issues.

• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all maintenance and repair activities.

• Promoting a positive Health & Safety culture within the team.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have proven experience in subsea controls refurbishment, repair and maintenance.

• Have proven experience in both mechanical and electrical fields as a technician or similar.

• Have strong leadership and communication skills.

• Have knowledge of subsea control systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.

• Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.

• Have experience working with industry regulations and safety standards.
