    • One temporary hourly-intermittent work study student assistant position available in Nursing.

    • Start Date
    • Position available on or after September 1, 2026 and ending on or before May 21, 2027.  Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

    • Job Description/Duties
    • The Student Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to the School of Nursing office. Responsibilities include filing, scanning, organizing documents, maintaining records, assisting with general office operations, and supporting faculty and staff with routine administrative tasks while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

      Duties include but are not limited to:
      • Organize, sort, and maintain paper and electronic files to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
      • Scan, upload, and index documents into electronic filing systems.
      • File documents according to established office procedures and maintain confidentiality of student and departmental records.
      • Assist with copying, printing, collating, and preparing materials for meetings, events, and faculty.
      • Perform data entry and update departmental records with accuracy.
      • Maintain organized office workspaces, filing cabinets, and supply areas.
      • Monitor office supply inventory and notify staff when supplies need to be replenished.
      • Assist with special projects and other clerical or administrative tasks as assigned.
      • Follow university policies regarding confidentiality, professionalism, and workplace safety.
      • Other duties as assigned.

       

    • Qualifications
    • Required Qualifications:
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying. 
    • Salary Range
    • $18.50 per hour.
