Job Summary

The student photographer will be responsible for assisting our senior photographer by photographing various campus events, including but not limited to: Homecoming, Family Weekend, Welcome Week, guest speakers, athletics events, concerts, receptions, awards ceremonies, both on and off campus.

The student will be responsible for photographing and editing his/her own RAW format photographs using Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop.

Pay Rate

$15.00/hour

Required Qualifications

Applicants need to have prior experience with professional photography equipment (manual exposure settings, and an external flash), shooting in RAW format, and using editing software (Adobe Creative Cloud).

Applicants should have their own DSLR camera and lenses. An external flash is preferred, but not required, as UMC has flashes and other equipment that can be checked out by students for their assignments.

Work Hours

Hours will vary based upon client requests for photography, but most hours will be after 4PM Monday-Friday and between 9AM-10PM on Saturdays and Sundays
