Description
This position supports the administrative assistant for the Department of Nursing with general office work six (6) hours a week.
$8.00/hour
Nursing students should not apply.
Primary Duties
1. General office responsibilities include but are not limited to:
a. Editing/creating documents in Word, Excel, Powerpoint
b. Extracting data from survey software such as Qualtrics or MicroSoft Forms
c. Copying and scanning
d. Coordinating prospective and accepted student communications using Outlook and Word
2. Creating social media posts in Canva
3. Updating the nursing website which may include training
4. Maintaining department bulletin boards/display cases
5. Cleaning and maintaining the general appearance of nursing conference room
6. Running errands on campus
7. Maintaining consistent and reliable attendance.
Secondary Duties
1. Other projects as assigned
2. Assisting faculty with various job requests as needed

Experience Required
Some general office experience a plus.

Skills, Characteristics Required
1) Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
2) Excellent working knowledge of Word and Excel, and Canva
3) Extracting data from survey software such as Qualtrics and Microsoft Forms.
4) Experience with social media
5) Coordinate prospective student communications
6) Prepare for Admission events
7) Maintain department bulletin boards/display cases
8) Maintain general appearance of nursing conference room
9) Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
10) Other projects as assigned
