Job Description:
The Student Assistant will serve as a key support partner to the Residency Coordinator and assist with the operational and administrative management of the Urology Residency Program. Responsibilities include:
Residency Program Support
- Assist with resident onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation tracking and checklist management
- Support coordination of residency graduation and other program-related events
- Maintain and organize resident records in accordance with institutional and ACGME requirements
- Assist with rotation schedules, call schedules, and tracking of resident requirements
- Monitor and track compliance items such as radiation badges, certifications, licensure documentation, and required training
- Help prepare materials for internal reviews, accreditation activities, and audits
Administrative & Operational Support
- Provide logistical support for conferences, meetings, and departmental events
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets for tracking program data and key metrics
- Assist in updating residency program website content and recruitment materials
- Support residency recruitment season activities (interview day coordination, applicant communication, itinerary preparation, and residency graduation)
- Draft correspondence and assist with professional communication to residents, faculty, and applicants
Project-Based Learning
- Participate in special projects related to program improvement, process optimization, and data analysis
- Assist with social media initiatives and digital presence for residency recruitment
- Support data collection and reporting for departmental or GME initiatives
$15 per hour
Required Qualifications:Enrollment in the University of Florida MBA or MPH program during the current semester and throughout employment

Good academic and disciplinary standing with no repeated violations of the University Code of Student Conduct
Preferred:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
· Strong organizational and time-management skills
· Experience with data tracking or administrative coordination
· Familiarity with social media platforms and website content management
· Interest in healthcare administration, graduate medical education, or hospital operations
· Professional communication skills and attention to detail
