Job Description

AECOM Hunt is seeking a talented Estimator – Structural Preconstruction to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.

• Plays a key role in developing solutions to policy and physical planning problems. Experienced professional with a specialized area of expertise.
• May manage small or medium-sized projects or have full technical control of project. May have financial responsibility for the success of a project and may play a key role in business development efforts, which may be sourced by a more senior staff member.
• May oversee the work of others and mentor others.
• Financial and project management goals are defined by the organization annually.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS + 4 years of relevant preconstruction estimating experience or AS + 6 years of relevant experience or HS + 8 years of relevant experience.

OR

• BA/BS + 6 years of relevant preconstruction estimating experience or AS + 8 years of relevant experience or HS + 10 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience in vertical construction- hi-rise residential, hotels, condos, casinos, stadium, convention centers and/or mixed-use commercial projects supporting Business Development and pre-construction phases. 
• 4-6 years of construction estimating experience.
• Demonstrated experience in preconstruction.
• Structural Engineering experience.

Additional Information

• Sponsorship for United States work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future.
• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
• Offered rate of compensation (Arizona only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $70k-$129k USD annually.
