String Management Specialist

We are looking for a String Management Specialist to join our team in the USA.

This position is currently open to internal candiates. This position can be based in one of our US offices or be fully remote (must be based in the US). The salary range for this position is $55K-70K based on experience and on their physical location. This package also includes a variable compensation based on meeting assigned objectives.

Requirements

Main Purpose

Working under general supervision, participates on extended project teams to execute assigned tasks to support string development and localization of global content.

Main Responsibilities

• Execute tasks within the scope of packaging and labeling development projects, as assigned.
• Coordinate activities with project team members according to defined scope and timeline and report status to stakeholders and management.
• Attend design meetings to understand flows and gather string updates/additions.
• Enter and update all keys/strings in Airtable for Norfolk and OTR apps, noting how/where used.
• Provide input to development on how and where localizations are used and on conditional content.
• Work with Technical Writer to ensure strings are consistent in wording.
• Inform Development and Designers of string or key updates.
• Ensure strings match designer’s screen exactly as changes are made.
• Prepare and route strings to key stakeholders for “approval”.
• “Drop” strings to Content Developer as scheduled.
• Extract string content from Vasont to compare for accuracy before GC is routed in MasterControl. Review MasterControl documents routed and provide input/feedback.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Educational Background

• Bachelor or associate degree in related field

Professional Experience

• At least 1-year relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of experience with an associate’s degree.

• Ability to read and understand MS project plans and schedules
• Ability to work independently and with a team on multiple projects while prioritizing deadlines
• Attention to detail and focus on quality
• Ability to interact with external suppliers including specification of project requirements, negotiation, quality assurance
