This role will be critical to the successful execution of strategic initiatives and operational excellence across the organization. In this role, you will be an integrator and enabler for better decision-making, helping business leaders allocate resources effectively, prioritize high-impact projects, and maintain focus on key objectives. Your work will ensure that the organization remains agile and aligned during times of change. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing strategic frameworks, implementing operational best practices, facilitating data-driven decision-making from goal setting to completion, and resolving complex challenges to ensure successful execution of strategic objectives.
 

This role will require the driving of alignment across cross-functional technical and non-technical teams.

Job Duties

  • Strategic Portfolio Management: Align cross-functional teams on strategic goals, create strategic roadmaps, determine evaluation criteria, and monitor performance.

  • Capacity planning: Partner with engineering leaders to forecast demand for programs and initiatives and ensure capacity is correctly allocated to achieve business goals.

  • Strategy Orchestration: Coordinate and align with leaders on strategy and its relation to broader company objectives and goals.

  • Performance and Risk Management: Ensure strategic initiatives are performing against set metrics, risks are identified and mitigated, and established processes are followed.

  • Data Organization and Presentation: Define and present objectives, key performance indicators, risks, decisions, and status to varying levels of stakeholders.

  • Adoption of Strategy and Operational Standards:

    • Drive execution and status communication within and across strategic initiatives, ensuring continued visibility.

    • Lead meetings to drive root cause analysis, problem categorization, and identification of actions to prevent recurring issues.

    • Ensure accuracy in prioritization, planning, and execution of deliverables. Improve say/do ratio for deliverables.

    • Work collaboratively with business management, product, engineering, and other teams to understand requirements, align stakeholder expectations, update stakeholders on progress, and manage risks and dependencies.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • 2+ years of experience in business operations, consulting, or adjacent role preferred

  • Experience overseeing and organizing multiple tasks, projects, or goals that are intricate and may have competing demands.

  • Basic knowledge of financial concepts, budgeting processes, and tools and is able to utilize this knowledge to perform routine analysis and make informed recommendations to business partners to ensure that spend is aligned with financial goals.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Experience working with diverse teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting operations, businesses, functions, or equivalent

  • Ability to effectively work and communicate with individuals from all levels of the organization  

  • Excellent organizational, conflict management and issue resolution skills

  • Ability to effectively work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity in an environment of active change

  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on impact to customers and identify risks to their goals or the areas they support and engage with key stakeholders to drive resolutions.

  • Analytical thinker with the ability to define and utilize quantitative and qualitative management information or transactional reports to identify key trends and tie to larger strategic business objectives

  • Strong software skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Confluence)
