Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $156,200.00 - $260,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

What You’ll Do 

Key Responsibilities

This role is pivotal in driving the successful execution of projects aligned with the company’s long-term goals.

You’ll blend strategic thinking with practical project management to ensure optimal outcomes. Responsibilities include:

• Develop and Lead a Data Strategy for Data related initiatives that aligns with the Cox Automotive Consolidated Strategy
• Maintain strong business relationship with OEM clients
• Lead specific data initiatives to serve OEM clients and facilitate the transaction across functions
• Maintain and utilize industry, competitive and general economic knowledge to make strategic recommendations or identify risks/opportunities for Cox Automotive pertaining to data related business opportunities
• Partner with key stakeholders on new data related growth partnerships, competitive landscape and execution of new business development relationships
• Create and execute a collaborative innovation model to develop data related partnerships that will build knowledge, influence strategy, and create new business opportunities in adjacencies to our core businesses.
• Solve complex problems by applying strong analytical skills and formulate recommendations to leadership
• Develop business cases to help CA/BU leaders make strategic decisions on key initiatives
• Negotiate new data contracts and renegotiate/terminate existing contracts as needed working with Legal and business partners for data initiatives
• Communicate contract terms/usage rights to Cox Automotive Corporate and business users
• Lead the preparation of communications, meeting materials, and formal meeting summary deliverables; communicate and influence with area leadership
• Work across multi-functional teams in order to leverage expertise from the broader organization, gathering strategic feedback and support necessary to coordinate efforts in deploying initiatives
• Ability to leverage strategic and analytical skills to effectively consult/communicate with leadership on data related initiatives
• Support industry and customer-facing strategy communication
• Performs business sector analysis including analysis of competitors and operational effectiveness as it pertains to potential acquisition and syndication opportunities with OEMs
• Assist development of strategic analysis for decision support that drives successful investment decisions and operational efficiencies
• Manage, mentor, and coach junior employees directly and indirectly in a growing, fast paced environment
