Location: Must reside in one of the following states to be considered for this position: Washington, Oregon, California, or Colorado.
Position Summary:
This is a “hustler” role; you need to be a salesperson in the channel. You work with your partners to uncover deals, not wait for them. You need to know your pipeline, deal registration wins, and losses.
As the Strategic Partner Manager, you will develop and manage the implementation of sales strategies as well as the plans and programs that are designed to achieve and exceed organic revenue growth goals. The SPM is responsible for managing key relationships and continue to brand Trend with the partner's executive staff, senior and middle management, and sales and technical consultants. You’re a leader and can get in front of the C level at our partners to have strategic customer conversations to ensure success.
You’re aligned with our Trend West leadership team, the Sellers and echo the Trend culture.
Responsibilities:
Build deep relationships with a core set of partners that lead with Trend
Develop, implement, and drive sales plans to increase partner sales revenues
Build relationships with regional Sales and Marketing teams
Manage the channel sales pipeline
Effectively sell the portfolio of Trend products to partner executive team, technical support, and sales
Enable Partner through training and education on solutions, value proposition, markets, technical knowledge, and programs.
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge of the cloud business: AWS, Azure and GCP
Proven track record and over achievement of quota in Channel Management
5+ years related experience managing strategic relationships
Ability to travel 50% of the time
Experience in lead generation event management a benefit
The ability to see data and analyze it to know how to get results
Sales and Channel Management experience
Trend Micro, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The OTE for this role is USD $205,000.00. A candidate’s final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors to include, but not limited to relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
