Critical Deliverables

Business

• Facilitate setting appropriate minimum and maximum inventory levels for each part in inventory with input from maintenance and production.
• Ensure that parts and inventory required as a result of additions or deletions to the process are accurately documented and entered into or removed from stores.
• Manage the receipt of inventory and transition to the proper stock location without error.
• Conduct routine safety walks and inspections of the site and assume responsibility for actions resulting from the activity and verify their completion.
• Ensure that all staff and 3rd parties under direct supervision comply with all Ingredion safety policies and take appropriate direct action for non-compliance.

Agility and  Innovation

• Work with Accounting to coordinate spare parts consumption to ensure proper cost allocation and begin the depreciation of those assets.
• Manage the purchase and rebuild of spare parts to ensure compliance with the parts budget.
• Coordinate spare parts inventory adjustment with Accounting every quarter to ensure that SAP accurately reflects the inventory.

Relationships and People

• Schedule staffing of storeroom personnel to optimize service and minimize costs.
• Manage and control vacations, absences, and tardiness to provide world-class service to the Indianapolis plant.
• Represent the management team through promptly addressing unsafe situations or behaviors of any employee.
• Work with the planning office to validate that parts are available for completion of planned work.

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering or Engineering Technology or related experience.
• Experience in maintenance, operations, or manufacturing storeroom management with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of SAP or other CMMS as it pertains to maintenance workflows and inventory management.
• Assertive, creative, energetic, and positive thinking.
• Demonstrate analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Mature understanding of diplomacy in people management at all levels of the organization.
