Position Overview
Under direction, oversees Warehouse functions in the distribution of forms at the Department of Human Services (DHS) Business Services Stores Unit. Serves as lead worker to lower-level staff.
Essential Functions
- Monitors the filling and packing of form orders to Department of Human Services (DHS) local offices and downstate county offices.
- Serves as designated lead worker to lower-level staff. Assigns and reviews work.
- Plans layout of warehouse for effective space utilization.
- Controls the receipt of large quantities of forms.
- Monitors the physical inventory of forms.
- Directs the continuous replenishment of forms in bin area.
- Instructs employees in correct operation of electrical equipment.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years high school.
- Requires two years’ experience in the keeping of stores and stores records.
