About the role

SUMMARY 

At Magnolia, the Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Silos Baking Co. This position maintains revenue, promotes efficiency and cleanliness, ensures the highest quality food is served to guests, and helps with future menu item planning. This position works from Silos Baking Co. in Waco, Texas. It reports to the Director of Hospitality and has supervisory responsibilities. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage daily operations at Silos Baking Co.* 
  • Partner with Food leadership to establish and implement team goals based on job role function* 
  • Monitor sales, finances, track expenses and increase profitability* 
  • Monitor costs, labor, and ordering processes* 
  • Communicate to Food leadership anticipated hiring needs 
  • Provide weekly sales data for the Senior Manager of Hospitality 
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and expenses, including auditing of cash drawers and reconciliations* 
  • Ensure team are adequately trained on recipes and processes 
  • Train, supervise, and develop all Silos Baking Co. staff to facilitate quick acclimation  
  • Track Silos Baking Co. finances and inventory control to reduce waste and ensure appropriate levels of inventory 
  • Approve schedules ensuring facilitation of efficient operation during all business hours and publish at minimum of two weeks in advance 
  • Ensure all employees are following Magnolia Handbook policies, sanitation guidelines, and quality standards 
  • Partner with Safety to set safety expectations at food business unit and ensure that safety standards are being followed  
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to comply with local, state, and federal regulations 
  • Plan, prepare, and coordinate for events, catering, etc. 
  • Update Aloha to reflect unit level changes with staff, food items, etc. 
  • Address guest complaints related to food quality or service 
  • Perform other duties as assigned
