A Store Expansion Project Manager is responsible for the successful, on-time, and on budget opening of new retail stores. The role would be the central point of contact between corporate teams, external vendors and the new store staff to coordinate all pre-planning activities.

About the Job

• Coordination: Working with real estate, design, construction, operations, and other teams to ensure seamless store opening.

• Timeline and Budget Control: Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Escalating and resolving any delays or issues to keep project on track.

• Inventory Management: Overseeing the setup and organization of merchandise and ensuring adequate stock levels.

• Staffing: Overseeing the hiring and training of new store employees.

• Operational Setup: Implementing store procedures, ensuring proper functionality of systems, and preparing the store for opening day.

• Promotional Activities: Developing strategies to attract customers to the new store.

• Reporting: Prepare and present project status reports, including post-mortem analyses upon completion to assess success and identify areas for improvement.

• 30% Travel / 70% Virtual support

About You:

• Organization and Planning: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and timelines.

• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple teams

• Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

• Retail Knowledge: Familiarity with retail operations, procedures, and best practices.

• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing situations and challenges.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $97,800- $147,300 per year. We may pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and our needs.
