Job Description:
Detail-oriented, reliable, creative team player to lead field evaluations of industrial structures, analyze data, evaluate root cause of failure, complete analytical modeling and calculations, and develop engineered rehabilitation/replacement plans & specifications. Up to 30% travel required.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Lead field evaluation of existing structures

Develop calculations and analytical models in steel, concrete, and other materials.

Lead the design of structural rehabilitation and/or replacement plans.

Specify materials, lead the development of reports.

Technical support for structural construction
-
Client interface, proposal, and estimate development
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Civil / Structural Engineering
-
Experience:
Yr = 8+
-
Licensure:
P.E. Required, S.E. (IL) Preferred

Technical Skills:
Extensive knowledge of STAAD/SAP, AISC, AISC, AWS required
Familiarity with AutoCAD preferred

Management:
Client interface and team mentoring experience preferred

Other Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
