This role will help our Mobile Engineering team to build quality in products that secure mobile devices, application, and data.

The Mobile team at Zscaler is responsible for developing a cross-platform client application for Windows, MacOS, Android, IOS and Linux, to securely steer endpoint traffic to Zscaler cloud. You will ideally have worked on a VPN and/or ZTNA client application and understand the intricacies multi-platform client apps. This is a technical position and you will be involved in all aspects of product development lifecycle – requirements discussion/analysis, design, scope estimation, planning, implementation, code reviews and unit testing, documentation, POCs, deployment and continuing engineering.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain both MAC & iOS applications and frameworks
• Work with product managers to translate the product requirements to technical requirements.
• Translate designs and mockups into high quality code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
• Help maintain code quality, coding standards and automation
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer escalations.

Required Skills:

• Experience in Objective C, SWIFT AND C++ 
• Experience in MAC networking stack a plus.
• Basic to good knowledge on Network stack development experience, specifically for VPN client type applications is a plus
• Strong experience and understanding of networking protocols
• Experience with PKI, network security technologies and protocols is preferred 
• Strong knowledge of design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Experience with RESTful APIs, offline storage, threading, and performance tuning is preferred
• Knowledge of the Mac/iOS ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and Apple Push Notifications is preferred

Desired Skills:

• Experience implementing VPN, firewall type solutions on Mac
• Experience with Mac platform 
• Experience in security industry
• Worked on platform-level component specific to Mac
