Staff Software Engineer, Frontend

We are growing rapidly as we accelerate our mission to automate the complex landscape of managing and measuring television advertising. We have a long-term goal to make marketing on TV available to businesses of any size.

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be supporting our full-stack feature teams, architecting critical aspects of the Tatari platform. The focus of this position is to contribute to system design, architecture decisions, best practices, and tooling impacting our front-end development. Our growing React SPAs manage large volumes of data, including both user-centric UIs and data-centric visualizations. Tatari’s business is growing rapidly and so is our user base -- your contributions will help us scale to the next level!

Responsibilities:

• Architect performant systems to deliver amazing UX to our customers
• Write clean, concise frontend code in modern Typescript + React
• Mentor and advocate best practices for our frontend codebase
• Work effectively across teams (Backend, Dev Ops, Product) to ship improvements and features

Qualifications:

• Team-player, smart, humble, gets things done
• 8+ years working on client-facing frontend projects
• Experience architecting and optimizing large-scale React applications from scratch
• Rock-solid Javascript/CSS/HTML foundation
• Experienced with the following technologies:
  • React, Typescript, Node.js (SSR)
  • Backend APIs including GraphQL, PostgreSQL
  • State management approaches for complex data
  • Webpack/bundlers, linters, CI tools
