Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. The successful candidate is expected to report to GMs office in Mountain View, CA or the office in Warren, MI three times per week, at minimum.

The Role
As a staff product manager for evaluation and validation, you will tackle one of the hardest problems in autonomous vehicles: how we measure and evaluate the readiness of our product. You will work across teams in ML Engineering, Data Science, Product, Systems, and Safety to build the vision, roadmap, and metrics needed to ensure we can deliver a safe and delightful product.
What You’ll Do:
Partner with data scientists, software and ML engineers to evaluate GMs ADAS products
Build scalable frameworks to measure driving performance
Build and own performance KPIs
Support verification & validation workflows, safety-case development, and represent eval in every step of the product development cycle
Actively monitor emerging trends and regulatory developments of AI and AV safety
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
5+ years of product management experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, or related fields
Solid understanding of the modern data and analytics technology stack, including cloud data and data infrastructure
Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive projects forward, even without a clear path.
Strong sense of accountability and ownership
Demonstrated expertise in writing, with the ability to effectively balance and integrate vision, strategy, and technical details in a cohesive narrative.
Experience working on frontier technology products
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
An MBA or a master's Degree in a technical or engineering discipline
Experience working with, understanding, analyzing, and presenting complex data to help influence long-term roadmaps
Experience working on AI/ML related projects, data analytics and decision support.

The salary range for this role is $168,000 to $258,800. T
