Description

Skyworks is seeking a full-time Senior Product Engineer for our Austin, TX based Power/Isolation team! The candidate will lead cutting edge Mixed Signal Power/Isolation products from prototype to production. You will be working closely with engineers across multiple functional teams. You will also need to simultaneously handle multiple development projects. This position includes responsibility for both new product development and sustaining activities.

Responsibilities

• New Product Introduction for Mixed Signal Power/Isolation product line
• ATE, Probe, and Characterization data analysis and summary reports
• Supporting wafer fabrication process development and qualification
• Developing production ATE test specifications
• Creating and managing product documentation
• Providing product development support which involves interfacing with Marketing, Design, Test Engineering, Quality Engineering, and others
• Driving cost reduction activities such as second sources qualification, yield enhancement, test time reduction, etc.
• Supporting production yield issues

Required Experience and Skills

• BSEE and 5+ years’ experience as Product Engineer
• Strong data analysis skills, electronics manufacturing knowledge, and the ability to debug production and development issues, such as on ATE or bench characterization
• Experience in Automotive Production
• Preferred skills: Proficiency in Microsoft office applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with data analysis software such as JMP and Exensio
• Experience with technical and detailed documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong organizational capability
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with cross-functional and cross-site teams, foster teamwork

Desired Experience and Skills

• Knowledge in ISO 9001 and ISO 26262 Standards
• Wafer FAB development experience
• Product Reliability Stress Testing knowledge
